My article on a lecture I attended was so well-received by the editorial staff that I was honored for it to be chosen as a front-page story.

This article is particularly special to me as an avid gymnastics fan. It was the first article written for the newspaper, and I brought ample firsthand information with my prior knowledge of the event and sport in general.

I had the privilege of interviewing Dr. Gilda Reed who also happened to be my professor at the time. I deeply enjoyed getting to know her on a personal level.
